The Fusion Bonded Epoxy Coating, standard on the all Hymax Products including couplings, flanged adapters, dismantling joints and the Hyjoint product line has continually improved since the current coating was introduced 3 years ago. Test results from routine cathodic disbondment testing of the epoxy coating on various components in the product line continue to satisfy industry requirements for superior coating quality.

The centering pins on all Hymax Couplings from 14” to 24” in diameter are now equipped with a standard type 304 stainless steel centering pin. The centering pins are provided to prevent coupling movement or drift across the pipe end when a pressure differential across the coupling is created by maximum transition of the gasketing system.

Nuts, bolts and washers on all Hymax and EZ-MAX Plus Products are pre-lubricated with a dry anti-seize or anti-galling lubricating. The use of additional wet lubricants on any product containing the dry lube system will void the warranty of the product. So remember, do not lubricate the nuts, bolts or washers.
